The biggest kiteboarding event of the year in NSW is coming this weekend to Sydney shores: the National Kiteboarding League, or NKL, is a national event series aiming to lift the profile of male and female kiteboarders in both Waves and Freestyle disciplines across each state.
After successful rounds in Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth, the NKL is coming to Sydney from Thursday 21st of January until Sunday the 24th, with the freestyle event at Dolls Point and the wave one at Wanda Beach.
We expect kiters from all levels to join in for 4 days of fun competition, including a Big Air trophy. The top 3 female and male riders of the state will then be invited to the Grand Final in Gold Coast later this year. Your $90 fee (free for young riders) include an event tee-shirt and access to the BBQ every day. The event is meant to attract more people into kiteboarding and offers “Have-a-go- sessions with trainer kites and coaches to your friends and family members.
